About Darren Sharp
A practical builder learning the online trade.
I was born in 1965 in Central Illinois. From the time I was fourteen, I worked on the family farm and took on construction, landscaping, equipment, and other practical jobs for family and friends.
After graduating high school in 1983, I built a working life in the automotive and construction industries. Those trades taught me that the right tool matters—but only when you understand the job, the system, and the result you are trying to produce.
I have been trying to build a profitable online business in my spare time since the 1990s. DeckSharp is where I organize what I learn, research the tools, document the journey, and help other beginners see a clearer path.
